Ceramic Intalox saddle rings are a type of high - performance random packing developed on the basis of ceramic Berl saddles and ceramic raschig rings. They combine the advantages of both, with a unique structure that features a semicircular saddle - like shape with openings on both sides and a series of protrusions and grooves on the surface. This special structure not only increases the specific surface area of the packing but also improves the distribution of gas and liquid in the tower, thereby significantly enhancing the mass transfer efficiency.
Compared with traditional packings, ceramic Intalox saddle rings have better hydrodynamic performance. The smooth surface and reasonable structural design reduce the resistance to gas and liquid flow, allowing for a higher flux through the tower. At the same time, they have excellent acid resistance and heat resistance, being able to resist corrosion from various inorganic acids, organic acids, and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid. They can be used in a wide temperature range, from low - temperature to high - temperature environments, making them suitable for various chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental protection industries.
